Fall Mixed Media Canvas

Our design team member, Tara, always has such creative and fun new uses for our products!
She created this beautiful and unique canvas including the use of distress inks, DIY rolled roses, different items she already had on hand (even a stick from her backyard!), and of course some of our buttons and embellishments!

Tara says: “Today, I felt like playing with a canvas, distress inks, and some pretties from Buttons Galore and More, to make a Fall mixed media canvas!”
Tara used our Harvest buttons. She added some pops of shimmer and texture using our Shimmerz in Desert Sky & our Sparkletz in Fall Foliage.
Use Tara’s canvas to inspire your inner creativity for your own! This is a perfect way to use up some leftover supplies from previous crafts or an excuse to try out a new stencil or patterned paper. Slap on a motivational quote, top it off with some buttons and embellishments, and BAM! Your own mixed media canvas!
A TIP FROM TARA:
Seal in the distress inks on the canvas. She used a spray on Mod Podge. If you tried to use the regular sponge on, it will smear your inks!
One of the best things about this project, is the versatility to it!
